This Privacy Policy explains how Cell Tracker (“the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the application. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

a) Location Information

  • The App periodically collects your device’s location information to show your visited places history within the App.

  • Location is collected approximately once every 30 minutes using Google's location API.

  • Location access may occur even when the App is running in the background, and the App displays a persistent notification to indicate background usage.

b) No Personal Identifiers Collected

  • We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or any other personally identifiable information.

c) No Data Transfer Outside the Device

  • All collected location data is stored locally on your device only.

  • The App does not transmit, upload, synchronize, or back up data to any external server or cloud service.

2. How We Use Information

Location information is used solely for:

  • displaying your historical movement or visited locations inside the App

  • exporting your own visit history upon your explicit action (e.g., text export via email)

We do not:

  • sell data

  • share data with third parties

  • use data for profiling or tracking by third parties

3. Data Retention and User Control

  • Location history is retained only on your device until you delete it.

  • You can stop further location collection at any time by disabling tracking within the App or revoking location permissions.

  • You can delete all stored location data using the “Clear Data” option in the App.

4. Permissions Used

The App may request the following permissions:

  • Location (Foreground and Background) – required to periodically collect device location and display visited locations even when the App is not open.

  • The App shows a visible notification when location is collected in the background.

We do not request SMS, microphone, camera, contacts, or storage permissions for data collection.

5. Third-Party Advertising (AdMob)

The App uses Google AdMob to display ads.

  • AdMob may collect device or ad-related identifiers for advertising and analytics purposes in accordance with Google’s privacy policies.

  • We do not share your location history or in-app data with AdMob.

  • You may review and manage AdMob/Google ad personalization settings through your device settings or Google account.

6. Children’s Privacy

This App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Data Security

  • All location data is stored locally on your device.

  • We do not have access to your data.

  • You are responsible for securing access to your device.

8. App Limitations and Intended Use

  • The App is not a remote monitoring or spying tool.

  • The App cannot be used without the device owner’s awareness because a persistent notification is displayed during background tracking.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
